some of the songs are so epic I can't identify most of them with the title. it's crazy. I need to get EP and Gallowsbird's Park. I should get around to that sometime. I wish there were better music stores around me.

Where are you from? There are so many great independent record stores I know of and could surely direct you to one if you're from NJ. And there's even one in walking distance from Drew. I wish I could work there, it's totally my dream job.

I'm from connecticut. the part where it's boring all the time. as in, southeast, on the coast.

The one by the cafe? That's the only one I've scoped so far, haven't had a chance to actually go in yet, though.

Why dontcha work there? Record shops are the best jobs ever because of all the networking you get to do not to mention being surrounded by music 24/7 *bliss*

I think it's by a café...not sure.

And it's just hard to get a job, especially when I wouldn't be able to get there during the summer months. I plan on starting a record store of my own post-college, though.

Also, the Kaiser Chiefs. I'm not sure if they're really considered indie, but I like them a lot.

yeah, check those out.

Yeah, Kaiser Chiefs are absolutely wonderful. :D Also fun...Bloc Party, Stereophonics, Starsailor, Travis, Embrace, Manic Street Preachers, and I'm starting to get into Louis XIV. Not sure if it's Indie, but it's British (most of it) and that's just as good.

ooh, I do like stereophonics. have you gotten their new album, Language Violence Sex Other? I don't think it's as good as Performace and Cockatils, but it's not bad.

No, I've only heard a few songs off of it. I think only two or three.

I'm lookin for something to beat JEEP but nothing has yet, though I'm currently in love with the song "Superman".

Bloc Party! I was listening to them all day. They are fabulous, but then tonight I heard them on a commercial. I wasn't watching, so I don't know what it was for, but it was weiiiirddd.

No way! Damn commercialism!! It was probably "Banquet" (the song)...as long as their other stuff remains untouched.

But agreed, they are fabulous.
