Advice on Taxi Comapny from Madison to Newark...

Can anyone give me some advice about the best taxi company to use for a trip from madison to the newark airport?

Not sure about taxis, but I do know that you can take the train to the airport, but you will have to transfer at Secaucus.

don't ever take taxis in madison. they are ridiculously expensive - a taxi from school [baldwin to be exact] to the train station is $20. total ripoff. you are better off taking the train.

Take the Newark Airport train to Penn Station in NYC and buy your ticket in advance to come to Madison. It's hella more cheaper than taxi. I do it all the time if I can't find a friend available with a car.

The cheapest way to go is to take the $5 Madison train to Newark Broad St., get on the light rail (about $1.75?) to Newark Penn Station, and then take the NJ Coastal train to EWR.

A taxi will cost you at least a hundred...this is a little more lengthy but way more affordable.

Or you could get on the Madison train, transfer at Secaucus, then catch the Northeast corridor line that stops at the airport. Maybe it's not as cheap but it seems like less hassle than getting on three different trains.
