mailbox full
I cannot recieve or send any email from my Drew email.

I deleted all of the messages, and all of the sent messages. I am totally empty. I still get an alert box when I log in to webmail that says the quota is full. How do I fix this?

Did you empty your trash?

Trash cannot be emptied until a backup has run overnight. If you are still experiencing quota issues, please launch the GroupWise client, click Tools > Check Mailbox Size. You can sort by size of message (attachments increase message size) and by view (Trash, Sent Items, Received items, etc.). This will allow you to delete the larger messages in your PO box.

yes to emptying the trash and what is the "PO box" I thought that was a regular mail thing... anyway, how do I access it online?

Are you using the GroupWise program or accessing your mailbox via Webaccess?

Assuming you are using a Drew configured computer, the GroupWise program was installed on your computer. Using that is the best way to deal with a mailbox that is full. You can use the Tools -> Check Mailbox size option to identify the largest messages in your mailbox, and delete those that aren't needed.

If you just want to empty everything in Trash, right-click on your Trash folder and choose Empty Trash.

If you are trying to empty messages in Trash via Webaccess (http://webaccess.drew.edu) , and are running into problems, try selecting groups of messages in your Trash folder use the 'Empty Selected Items' button instead of using the 'Empty Trash' button.
