Make moodle allow viewing of all classes' syllabi
It would be a useful feature to be able to see just the syllabus when choosing new classes.

Moodle availability
Hi Ilan,

Thanks for the comment. The course catalog is the official record of course descriptions for students to read before registering for classes, and will provide the main themes and a general overview of each course. Click on "View Catalog Entry" to see the course description.

Making Moodle courses available for potential students to see syllabi is not possible for a number of reasons, including the fact that not all professors and instructors use Moodle, and also because the course materials may not yet be updated for the new semester in time for registration.

I'd recommend asking individual professors for more information about a course you would like to take!

Right, but the problem with that is the course descriptions are extremely vague and do not accurately portray the coursework required. Even though some professors don't use moodle, they still all have a syllabus that was typed. Therefore, isn't it possible to create an organized repository of them? Even ones from previous years would do. Thanks for the quick response.
