The GMAT Has Changed
Now that the GMAT has changed—bringing with it a slightly new format and an additional section, Integrated Reasoning—you’re going to have to change the way you prep to land a top-tier score. Because of the format tweaks and the new question types you’ll have to learn for the IR section, where we previously recommended around 100 hours for a 700+ score, we now recommend putting in around 150 hours of study.
Our courses now include instruction on the new section and our expert teachers are ready to help you succeed on Test Day. Visit our Test Change Info Center below for more information and to get started.

GMAT’s Integrated Reasoning Scoring Scale Is Out
By Lucas Weingarten
Although it is yet to be seen how Integrated Reasoning scores will actually be used by admissions committees, we do now at least know what they will look like. Starting June 5, 2012, the New GMAT goes live with one less essay (Issue) and one more section (Integrated Reasoning). Contrary to what some might have heard, your performance on the new IR section will not impact your 200-800 point GMAT score. Rather, you will now receive five separate scores across four separate scales.
