Groupwise: sender's time for incoming messages
I'd like the time stamp on the messages in my inbox to reflect the local time of the sender (maybe with the +/- GMT info), not my local time when Groupwise receives the message. Any way to make Groupwise do this? I'm pretty sure Eudora (oh, how I miss Eudora!) did this automatically.

Although GroupWise does store timezone information internally, I don't think there's any way to display that information in the client - which I admit is odd. I'm guessing the timezone information is there to help the client sort out displaying your calendar when you're moving between timezones. I don't think Outlook does this either, so I guess your only option if this is really important is to use some IMAP client that supports what you need. Unfortunately, Eudora doesn't exist anymore so I don't know what to suggest.

Thanks Jonathan! From beyond the diploma, even!

Eudora does still exist, a new version just came out or is about to. It's gone open source. This one issue isn't really important to me, but the list of things that Groupwise doesn't do or does in a totally inelegant and ineffeicient way is getting so long.

Well you can use Eudora if you want. If they've implemented IMAP then it will talk to the GroupWise post offices correctly. You'll loose your address book and calendar functionality. You'll also loose technical support. It's up to you though! I don't know what's happening with Eudora, the open source version you mentioned was supposed "to be released in the 2007 calendar year" and the developers page just links to a project called Penelope over at Mozilla. Maybe you should learn C or C++ or whatever this thing is written in and become a developer Dr. Fox! Contribute to the product you love so much!
