heyy there...i'm sure more people will join in on the fun. ;) hope your summer is going well...are you looking forward to coming back to drew in sept??

This is indeed a poor, lonely, pathetic forum with only three messages on it.

I can't wait to get back to school, though, as odd as that seems (I don't think I've ever said that before.)

How's everyone else doing?

06-20-2005 09:12 PM

Okay, even though technically I shouldn't post here since I'm in the class of '07.

I have a crush on the class of 2008. The entire class. All several hundred of you.

Also, it's the summer and I'm bored. So I pose to you this question: Why is the class of '08 so awesommeeeeeee? :D

06-21-2005 04:18 AM

hahah aw carolyn<3
i'm really excited for the fall, because i need something to do. summer is boring, with the exception of seeing fabulous people often.
chrissy i miss you!

I think its fun how I know every person that's posted in this thread, yay...or something. =P

I miss you too, Mandy! And Maria, I know what you mean -- I find myself saying how much I'm looking forward to going back as well. Who knew that was going to happen? LOL. What are you guys up to this summer??

Oh and Mandy...way to move on to being a Squirrel while we all remain in Young Squirrel land. ;)

06-27-2005 06:34 PM

Well, at the moment, not all that much. I finished a summer class at Drew about a week and a half ago (it was on Harry Potter), and I'm going to Greece with my family in two weeks. So I'm excited about that.
In the meantime, I've been reading a lot and hanging out with my friends from home a bunch.

well. there are several reasons why the class of 2008 has a boring forum.
Firstly, maybe we are all just boring people.
Maybe we are all really exciitng people with such excitng lives that we don't have time to post on phorum....

yeah, def that one.....

and to that I cough loudly * bullshit* and go post on another forum.

* this has been my first post... it wasn't really my first post... but it was.... so I have officially now posted...go me! :)

.....nine more til I am no longer a young squirrel! :):p:eek:

It's an interesting phenomenon. There was a lot of freshmen posting before coming up to drew, I was positive there would be a massive influx of posts on move in day or comp handout. But I guess they were lame and actually talked to people in person....

It's the effect of having such a small campus, you can meet and talk to so many people while spending relatively little time traveling to get there. I was able to be yelled at by people in 3 different dorms for playing frisbee last night.

Same thing happened last year right after they arrived, and failed to return to anything near prior posting levels after handout.

Kevin P. Egan 09-04-2006 08:22 PM

seriously, what's wrong with these Freshmen we're getting?

09-04-2006 09:45 PM

well you know what they say about quality vs. quantity...

:D
