Cars permitted?
Hi guys, this is my first post to the forum. Do any of you guys know what grade you have to be to have your car on campus? Thanks in advance! :)

Junior or Senior

Also depending on whether or not you're involved in a certain program provided by the school (or if you're a commuter) that you require a car. It costs $50 per semester for a parking decal through Public Safety.

cars are bad for the environment

Thats why you should get piggyback rights from freshman. That or scooters, horses, those ricshaws(or whatever those things are that are shown all the time in Japan/China)

How does one go about getting a parking decal??

Christopher L. Stave 05-29-2008 12:05 PM

To get a parking decal, just go to public safety with your car (and license, insurance info, etc.) and they will take care of it. Since they're also the ones to give you tickets if you break the parking rules, you can ask them any questions about where you can park.

Last I checked they also have the zipcars available at hourly/daily rentals, you can find out more at http://www.zipcar.com/drew/ so if you can't have a car on campus, you can probably rent one out to drive to the mall, supermarket, etc.
