Arabic letters in firefox?

So some how I changed firefox's settings so it will only type in arabic letters while I'm in the program. I can type in word with roman letters andcopy and paste it into the browser, but it's getting slightly annoying. What can I do to make the arabic letters go away?

it might be in your character encoding.. and you change that by going to tools, options, content tab, and then make sure thats times new roman.. look to the right for the advanced button and that encoding is at the bottom of that pop-up. the common one is Western(ISO-8859-1) or something like that. sorry if this doesn't help...

Is there an AR on the bottom left of your screen when you're in Firefox? You can mistakenly change your language through keyboard shortcuts in an application, and still be in English for other applications.

If there is an AR there while Firefox has focus, click on it and change the active language to English.
