Would it be easier for everything to be on a Kindle?

You will probably not have to carry orgo or bio book around. From experience we rarely used the books. But there will be a new orgo prof. this year so it may be different. I rarely took my books out of my room.

Yeah, you usually don't bring your textbooks to class. If you bring your laptop, you won't need a notebook, and vice versa.

I'm going to be a sr. and the only class I've ever had to bring my laptop to was stats.

No, I think having separate books is fine and that's how it should be. I can't stand to read anything on a computer, let alone a Kindle. Maybe the option available would be nice sometimes, but I'd just rather have the book in front of me.

I agree with Jordan. I always end up printing out online readings because I remember less if I read it online versus read it on paper. Also, you will almost never bring texts with you to class. I'm also going to be a senior and almost never have to bring a laptop to class. If you're in an English class and reading a novel/play/whatever, you'll have to bring that, but honestly, I've never felt like my back was going to break because of carrying around too many books/laptop. It's not like high school.

If you really did need to bring all of those to class, a backpack would suffice, but you will probably not really need to bring your texts to class. You also very rarely need your laptop in class unless that's your preferred note-taking method.

Might be a problem if they decide to remotely delete books you need.
