If anyone needs any help with The Kite Runner, I read it last summer for school. I don't think anyone will actually need any help with it though; It's pretty easy to read, and it's a pretty good story.

I really like it so far. I'm about 2/3 of the way done.

This being the 4th year that I've had to read the common reading book (and knowing what it was for 2 years before that), my opinion is that the class of 09 got pretty lucky with this one as I think it is the best one yet. Of course, everyone has different opinions when it comes to literature.

Meh, I liked Ishmael. I know a lot of people didn't, but personally, I did. So take that as you will.

Kite Runner was pretty good, but I really liked Interpreter of Maladies.

Yes, it gets better. I just finished reading it a couple of days ago, and the plot is really good. It's entertaining. But you should never stop reading at the first page! You can't get into it that way.

Well when I first began reading the book it didn't seem that interesting to me. This is not usually my kind of book. But now I'm halfway done with it and it has been a great read so far. It has a sort of slow beginning, but it speeds up as you read the first couple of chapters.
