SJP Presents: War And Occupation Broken Promises to Refugees from Palestine to Syria
Please join us as and our four panelists as we discuss these tragic histories and explore the themes of betrayal and broken promises in light of these two ongoing humanitarian crises:
Since the 1948 UN partition of Palestine and the forced exile, known as Nakba, Palestinians have been trying to return to their ancestral homeland. Since the 2011 Syrian uprising began, millions of Syrians have been forced to flee their homes in what has become the worst global humanitarian crisis since World War II.
