“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
Centering Prayer: An Introductory Program
Do you yearn for a deeper relationship with God?
Do you have a yearning for “something more” in your prayer life?
Do you feel “dry” in your prayer life, although you are faithful in saying your prayers?
If you resonate with one of these questions, you may be called to Centering Prayer.
What is Centering Prayer?
1. It is a silent prayer renewed from an ancient Christian contemplative practice.
2. It is a method of moving beyond talking to God to being in communion with God.
3. It deepens our relationship with God by saying “yes” to Christ, who lives in each of us.
4. It tends to lead to a deeper prayer life, closer communion with God, healing, and spiritual transformation.
