The Pagan Society has dubbed next week - Sunday April 30th to Friday May 5th - as Paganism Awareness Week.
We will be beginning the festivities with a celebration of Beltane on Sunday, April 30th, 3:30-7:30pm. Come have free food, make fun crafts, get henna tattoos and tarot and palm readings, dance the Maypole, and see OADN perform!!! It will be a fun afternoon celebrating love and the coming of summer, hopefully OUTSIDE on Hoyt Lawn. (The rain site will be Baldwin Gym, but hopefully we won't need it.)
On Monday, May 1st, there will be a panel on Paganism comprised of students and a faculty guest who will provide an anthropologist's perspective. Come learn a bit about Paganism and have an opportunity to ask any questions you have of people who have experienced Pagan traditions firsthand. The panel will take place in UC 107 8:00-10:00pm.
On Wednesday, May 3rd, we will have an energy workshop. Come learn to feel and direct your own energy and discover ways to apply this practice to your everyday life. No experience or Pagan beliefs necessary! Just join us in the Haselton 4th lounge 9:00-10:30pm.
There will also be a craft table in the UC all week. Come make a fun FREE craft and learn a bit about Paganism.
