Angry Printer Help!

I ran out of black ink and the computer told me to get more. So I did. And I followed the instructions like I have 100 times before and I put in the black ink cartridge. But now the printer won't print in black ink AT ALL. What gives?

Is it one of those Canon scams where it will require you to buy ALL new ink, including the color that it still half full before it will print? Or am I a moron? For the love of all things simple, help me!

Well luckily for you, I, Jason, the Printer Evangelist, am on duty at the CNS Helpdesk every Monday Night.

Bring your ailing printer down to the desk, located in the basement of BC and I will take a look. If it's an Epson C82, (which it sounds like from the problem you describe) chances are that I can heal your printer and you will be able to print with it once more.

Seriously, drop it off anytime on Monday, and I'll take a look on Monday night -- if you drop it off some other day of the week, it may have to wait till the next Monday rolls around for me to fix it.

We're open Monday - Friday 9am -5pm and Monday -Thrursday evenings, 6pm-11pm. I can't remember our weekend hours off the top of my head --

Jason
