Default Changes to Names in new directory

I don't know if I'm the only one effected, but it seems that when a faculty or staff member adds a nickname to their entry in the new directory, it becomes difficult to find them in the Groupwise Novell Addressbook. Is there an update that I'm missing?

You can change your search order to start the search on the last name and then the first. You can do this by opening the addressbook in the Groupwise client by clicking on Tools and then Addressbook.

When the addressbook opens, click on View and then Name format. When the dialog box appears, you can choose to "Show last name then first name."

This will allow you to search on the last name before the first. That way it will be easier to find people who have changed their first name to display a nickname instead.
