Question Computer control

I went to add the Window's Sidebar, one part of Vista that i actually like, and apparently that is blocked or disabled by the systems administrator.

Does anyone know who that is?

And why block the sidebar? So i can't have a larger clock on my desktop? Really?

It makes no sense to me.

Any one know why this is the case?

Default i think

Now I'm not 100% sure and you should probably ask CNS about this, but I think you are the system administrator. Maybe you did something in the last few days that blocked the sidebar but either way I am pretty sure you control all of that.

It's pretty simple to reenable. Go to https://community.drew.edu/showpost....01&postcount=4 for the file you need.

Default thanks

thanks, its possible that i messed something up, as a few days after my boot drive failed, and my laptop no longer functions, even in safe mode.

Well, I can't see how a registry key that re-enables the sidebar could possibly lead to a hard drive failure.
