Default NetStorage / WebDAV with Windows 7?

Hi, I had set up WebDAV/NetStorage at home, but can't see how to do it on a new laptop with Windows 7. Windows 7 does not have "My Network Places" and I canot find any equivalent. Does anyone know how? thank you, J. Lenz (Prof., Classics)

Unfortunately, Microsoft no longer supports the WebDAV features needed by NetStorage in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

You'll have to use NetStorage through the browser, or use FTP, to move files.

Default thanks

thanks, Axel, but that's too bad, because I find DocX takes a long time to boot up.

I'd use SFTP to access the file servers from an FTP client. Do do that you'd enter in nwftp.drew.edu as the name of the FTP server. If you need to enter it in URL style it's sftp://nwftp.drew.edu/ .
