2011 Barcelona Summer Program

Program dates: June 4 – July 2, 2011
Barcelona offers a vast array of cultural institutions, museums and historical sites as well as access to beach resorts and culinary excellence. It is one of the most cosmopolitan cities of the European Union and within Spain it is considered the most prosperous and industrialized region of the peninsula.

Barcelona, the capital of Cataluna boasts its own language and unique historical development. It is home to some of the 20th century's most creative and influential artists such as Picasso, Dali, Gaudi and Miro. We want our students to know this thriving metropolis and the major trends in Spanish art and culture, as well as to have a closer look at Spain's impressive artistic legacy and daily life.
