even if you arent bunking, it is still prime to get the bed that would be the bottom bunk- if you "flip" it, by mounting it to the top of the headboard instead of the bottom, you get about 2 and a half feet of storage space underneath. the bed that is meant to be the top doesnt have this ability.

how do we bunk the beds?
like do we have to buy something to put them together with?

two small mirrors.

Beds are bunked with pegs that you can get from Reslife and a little help from your friends.

or you could luck out with an awesome roommate who does it for you before you even get there

aw man, freshman year was actually pretty cool. minus the drama. memories!

Well the room only comes with one bed that can be flipped, there's nothing stopping you from sneaking into another room whose occupants have not arrived and taking their bed posts. You dont need to move the bed itself, just un screw the bed frames; get frames from a bed that can be flipped, and swap.


Of course I am not suggesting you do something so heinous to someone whose not there yet....

could you imagine someone walking in on a person doing that? man, that'd be classic. maybe i'll hang out around the freshmen dorms during move-in, just for kicks.

Dont you kick enough people during the year that you do not need to prey on poor freshmen when they're moving in on the first day?

not gonna lie, i was lofted and i loved it- the extra storage, excellent survaillance of the many wonderful activities occuring in the room. it was just difficult to get into on some specific weekend nights...
