Default Firefox 2.0 and Drew secure web sites.

If you are playing with the just released Mozilla Firefox 2.0, you may have noticed a slight issue when you try to access secure Drew web sites protected by iChain--sites like Webmail, NetStorage, Blackboard, or CampusWeb.

There seems to be up to a 30 second delay when initially connecting to those web sites. To eliminate the delay and work around the issue, go to Tools > Options > Advanced > Encryption and uncheck the box for TLS 1.0. Leave SSL 3.0 enabled.

Note at present that this only affects Firefox 2.0 and Drew doesn't officially support FF 2.0 yet, but I thought this would be useful information for people who were playing with it already. We have also informed the vendor about the delay issue with iChain.
