October Student Technology Workshops
The Student Technology Education Labis offering four workshops for students during the month of October. All workshops take place in Brothers College, Room 1 (in the basement, just down the hall from the CNS help desk).
Moodle Basics for Students:
Tuesday, 10/13 1:15PM, Thursday, 10/29 1:15PM
An introduction for students new to the Moodle learning management system. Students will learn to navigate the Moodle interface, upload and download files, use for a for class discussions, and update their personal profiles.
Laptop Maintenance Clinic:
Tuesday, 10/6 1:00PM, Friday, 10/23 1:30PM
Learn about the programs and processes that will get your computer running quickly and smoothly again. Malware (spyware, adware & viruses), removing unnecessary temporary files, defragmenting hard drives, and care of the physical components of your computer - such as proper screen and keyboard maintenance - are covered in this short workshop.
