![]() I have one of those little notebook computers and I would rather take that to class rather than my bigger Drew laptop. But when I am in H.S. it connects me as "drew guest" with little to no connectivity. Is there something I can do to be connected?

![]() As fas as I know, no. I have my own laptop and sometimes I will be logged in and the wireless connection crashes on me. Other times I'm better off than the Drew Laptops. If you are just using it to take notes anyway then you don't need the internet so if it doesn't work it isn't a big deal. I also find that sometimes if I restart my computer it works, other times I just need to unconnect and re-connect. I never have a problem anywhere else with my wireless connection but here. I asked the help desk when I first got here what is up with the signal going in and out, but they won't help you because you don't have a Drew computer...if you find anything out let me know!
Good luck! |

![]() I know on the R60 Drew computers you can press fn-f5 (maybe be different depending on the model) and it brings up all the wireless networks. So while your computer automatically connects you to drew guest there may be a second network called Drew (or something else) which has a higher connectivity. On Drew computers you can then choose which wireless you want to connect to. I am assuming non Drew laptops also have these feature, but in order to find it you would have to ask your laptop company. Also if multiple people try signing onto one wireless connection at the same time. The wireless router may not be able to handle it and accidentally kick some people off. Good Luck Heather

![]() You should be able to connect to the Drew wireless network with any computer. Once you go to an off-campus web page, however, you will have to authenticate with your uLogin ID and password.

![]() Make sure your computer is connecting to the "drew" network. "drew guest" isn't going to work.

![]() It appears that there is a problem with some of the access points in hall of sciences. CNS is investigating.

Wireless coverage in the Hall of Science is now a known issue and we're currently checking it out with an eye on restoring previous coverage and improving upon the wireless coverage that should be there currently. |

![]() Thanks everyone! I tried to take all of your advice but it still didn't work. There is only a drew guest option so I cant even log in. It works everywhere else on campus so I guess since you guys know about the problem it isn't just me. Thanks again! I will just make sure to bring my cord to class :-)
