Question Is it possible to get new forums set up?

My department is discussing something where it might be helpful to have a blog or web-based discussion set up for it. Is it possible to get a discussion in the forums.drew.edu *but* not have postings visible to the rest of campus?
Thanks!

Do you mean the Course Discussion Forums on forums.drew.edu? Those posts are not visible to anyone except those enrolled in the course...

Well, either course discussion forums or something on the community forums, or even something in blackboard might work...

The course discussion forums are specially tied into the wya we assign course groups in directory services.

You can create a shared folder in GroupWise and change it to Thread view (View > Display Settings > Discussion Threads). You can use it like a threaded discussion board and post notes in it. Click the drop down to the right of the New Mail icon and "Posted Message" is one of the options.
