Default Are you thinking of being an English major/minor?

Curious about what the English Department will be teaching in Spring 2010?

Want to take a literature or writing class but don't know which one to take?

TODAY, we have the event for you!

Each semester the English Department hosts a gathering at which faculty members describe the courses they will be teaching the following semester, listing texts, themes, and how the course fits into the major. We also produce a brochure describing those courses, called "Words in the World."
Today is the Fall 2009 "Worlds in the World" gathering

Monday, October 19
4:00-5:30
TOE (The Other End), behind Sitterly House
Refreshments served

Come and learn what we will be teaching before the course list is released. Ask questions. Learn more about the major.

Eat brownies and other goodies. Pick up a copy of "Words in the World," and socialize with us and with each other!
