Packing in a hurry is the best way. You only have time to grab whatevers close at hand, so you leave behind all the junk you never use anyway.

The dorms arent that big. If you cant fit everything into one car, are you sure you arent taking too much?

I dont recall seeing anything about the number of cars you can bring. Id say bring as many as you want, they probably wont turn you away. If there is a one car limit, you can bring one car in, unload it, and then park it outside and take in the next one anyway.

Yes, there is a one car per person limit, it should have been in your check in letter I believe. We are willing to make certain exceptions (say if you only have two compact cars) or something, but bringing two expeditions full of stuff is not ok. We do this for several reasons: 1. we have limited unloading space. If someone brings two cars, it means there isnt room for someone else to move in at that time. 2. You should be respectful of how much of the room you take up. You will probably have a hard time fitting everything in the room and leaving enough room for your roommate if you bring more than one car. 3. Thanksgiving break comes up pretty quickly, and you can always bring back more stuff when you come back from that.

Okay, here's another stupid question. What if you have two cars, but only one has stuff in it? My dad is coming, but he lives two hours away so we're meeting in Connecticut, but my mum's car is tiny, so we can't all fit in and come together in one car that morning.

That shouldn't be a problem.

Last year, I lived in Tolley and the unloading zone was right out in front, so it was allll good.

Man. Packing is hilarious. I think I might take up that trash bag idea.
