Default Symantec W32.Downadup Tool- When will it end???

A month or so ago, I had a problem with this removal tool. Even after I ran it as directed twice, the Accept/Decline window would still pop up at startup. I realized this was happening because I had accidentally deleted the log files in the midst of doing a disk clean-up. I ran it one more time and made sure I saved an extra copy of the files just in case. Problem solved...

...until now. I just started up my computer and the Accept/Decline window popped up yet again. This time the log files are indeed present in the correct folder (C:\WINDOWS\FIXDOWNADUP1.LOG AND FIXDOWNADUP2.LOG), so I don't know what's going on. I know that I can go about my daily business ignoring this window, but I don't consider that a long-term solution. I am tired of dealing with this! Is anyone else having this problem?

I also got that message on my computer this morning when I started it up, and was unsure whether or not to accept or decline. Will this be a periodic thing that we need to accept to allow for the check every-so-often?

Default Downadup/conficker

Has an update trigger date tomorrow. We decided last night to have it run a third time (and create a third log file) to try to get a few more infected computers dealt with.

Okay, thanks. I'll let it run.
