There's always some in the spring. I think it may help those people that are taking four classes for possible majors...or something.

Also, there are transfer students/new freshmen in the spring who need a FYS.

congrats on getting two of the most kick-ass and dynamic professors the english department has to offer

seriously adore smith-wright. have yet to have a class with jamieson but i certainly plan on it & i have heard nothing but good things about her brilliance.

of course i am like the uber english major dork soooooo
good department, great department even!

i second that! never had jamieson, but she always pops into prof. hala's office when i'm there, and she's always amusing. smith-wright is WONDERFUL. she singlehandedly almost turned me into an english major, just so i could take more classes with her. as it is, though, i might as WELL be an english major - i spend enough time in the department. hehe.
