Talal Alyan will be discussing the way in which the Yarmouk refugee camp was forced under siege by Assad's brutal regime and will shed light on the systematic brutality done against the refugees in Yarmouk through starvation, blockade of aid, etc.
Talal is a Palestinian-American writer based in Brooklyn. He has lived in various parts of the Middle East including Beirut, Doha, and Tripoli. His writing has been featured in The Daily Beast, Huffington Post, Al-Monitor, and other Middle Eastern publications.
