i didn't mean to be harsh, if i was i am sorry just making a point, and another point is why be so mean to freshmen? we never did in my school, not even in high school.

some people call them "first years."

and then laugh, because that's just a weird name. I mean, they're not years, they're people.

Like soylent cola, but taste varies from person to person. Either way, Freshmen or First year, it doesnt really matter.

"First years" is an abbreviated form of "first year students"
