Default The Commons is a Hub of Dictatorship

Earlier tonight, I was accosted by a cafeteria woman and several Public Safety officers for "intended theft"--I had put some macaroni in a few Ziploc containers. If this has happened to you, then you know how annoying it is to be told that you can't transport food out of the cafeteria...for later consumption. The rules surrounding removal of food from the Commons should be made more clear, and they should be amenable to people's needs. If I want to take some macaroni out--I'M GONNA.

Default I pay more THAN ENOUGH

I agree with you 100%. Not only is the food disgusting and sometimes repulsive to look at for the money we pay but they also try to hassle us when we want to take something for later. Come one we all know the food goes to waste anyways so why not!! Things have to change in the commons, I visit other schools that are way cheaper than here and there cafeteria is amazing and not to mention the "to go" option is available.

You pay for the food, you can take it out. Either the meal plan is optional or we can take food home that WE PAY FOR.

How about taking schedules into account? how about people with classes that run until late? Or maybe athletes who want to eat after practice but can't because of the time at which the commons closes?
I find it ridiculous and even embarrassing for Drew to have PS called on a student who took some food? who cares? it's not like we don't pay enough money for it or there aren't more important issues for PS to be dealing with.
Where are we heading? horrible/expensive food which we must all pay for?? BS!
