Sorry I missed this, but I just decided with my roomate that we're going to bunk beds...what do we have to do?

You go to reslife (I believe reslife) sometime they're open, and get four pins to hold the top bed on the bottom. You get a bunch of friends to lift the beds on top of each other. The pins go in a hole on top of the post, and the top beds have a hole in the bottom of each post. They fit together. It's pretty easy, and you can always ask your RA to show you, but you'll probably understand when you see them. The pins are free.

I thought the RAs had them.

you might want to check out the exact length before you buy it- mattresses at school are about 6 inches longer than a regular twin.

A lot of IKEA furniture requires anchoring to the wall or ceiling for safety. If it's not freestanding you can't use it at Drew.

I know that there's an official lofting company (or whatever) sponsored by Drew, so they'd have the correct size, I guess. They sent something in the mail recently. You could email reslife, or maybe someone here knows?

I wasn't planning to loft my bed, but after seeing my room today, I realize how small the rooms really are, so now I'm definately going to loft. The only thing I'm worried about, is will my bed be so close to the ceiling I won't be able to sit up straight in my bed. I'm about 5'6", so will I hit my head every time I try to sit up?
