On Monday, Nov 23 at 6:00 pm in LC 28, Ayman A. M Nijim will discuss PTSD and Mental Health disorder in children in Palestine due to Israel’s Occupation & constant assaults on Gaza Strip & West Bank. According to the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) more than 400,000 children in Gaza need “immediate psychosocial and child protection support” following Israel’s devastating assaults.

Ayman A. M Nijim is a well-known International public speaker, who has delivered speeches in 70 churches and 35 universities, colleges and schools across the USA. He grew up in the Gaza strip, a place where the repercussion of the Israel-Palestine conflict, in somany respects, is still looming.

He discusses his personal history working with several International and community-based organizations to provide services to the Gaza strip’s traumatized children. Ayman holds a Masters Degree in Conflict Transformation Across Cultures and has focused his studies in conflict transformation and social justice. He shares stories about his experience as a journalist, and human rights activist, during the assaults on the tiny enclave of the Gaza strip and also discusses the applicability and validity of civil resistance.
