Talking AirConditioning?

Does any one know if Tolly Hall permits air conditioners? I wanted to buy one before the year begins but I was unsure if the window ones were permitted.

Air conditioners are not allowed in resident's rooms unless, I think, the student has a medical condition or something like that.

yeah, Air conditioners are not allowed and you can be fined and the RD's could in theory make you take it down or confiscate it

The Tolley-Brown Lounge is air conditioned if you need a cool place. Usually there's only a week or two when you'd really want the AC, most of the time you can just open the window and use a fan at night to keep the room cool.

I recommend a nice big oscillating fan. There also window fans you can get that I think are allowed.
