Default EMT Training

Does anyone know if Drew offers EMT training classes? or maybe St. E's or FDU?

If not, how did the EMTs out there get their training?

Normally a community college or community education center will offer EMT courses or they can be offered through local volunteer emergency response organizations, A good place to start might be by contacting a local volunteer ambulance corp.

I would suggest joining a squad first, or getting in touch with one. Call Madison EMS. Most EMT classes can run upwards of $500, but first aid squads will almost always cover those costs. There is the Morris County Fire and Police Academy that offers classes, and that's only 8 minutes from Drew. They are run by Atlantic, which runs Morristown Memorial Hospital so you'll have a great place to do your mandatory EMT hours too.

Good luck.
