Ants in Eberhardt 23

After filing a work request both online AND by phone last week, I'm glad to see that nothing has been done about the ants that are EVERYWHERE in my dorm. I really really can't handle bugs and I can't deal with killing ants every five minutes while I'm doing my homework. It's really stressing me out and I totally can't deal with this right now.

I've no idea where they're coming from but in the time it took me to type this message, I've killed ten of them.

Last year, living in Tolley we had no problems like this whatsoever and it's stupid and I really don't have to put up with living in an ant-infested dorm for all the tuition I pay. Is there any way to get anyone to actually DO something? Because I'm getting physically ill from this.

or, you could call again and ask what's happening, so they know it's still a problem, and you can find out what's going on.

Not sure what the current procedure is (go through the RA, talk to facilities, etc.), so I don't know where you submitted work order, but there is always the option of showing up in person in the appropriate office (whether that's reslife, housing or facilities). If you can take the time, showing up in person, as long as you're polite (Being insistent and forcefull but professional at the same time usually works well) makes it a lot harder to get lost in the shuffle. It would certainly make it easier to get across that this just isn't a couple of ants.

Thanks guys. My mom actually did what I didn't want her to do and called the school to see what she could do and they're apparently coming Wednesday.

Make sure they don't get pissed that your mom called them and put more ants in.

can they come to 24 too? we've got ants here as well. in my triscuits. and cereal. after ive eaten half of it and just didnt notice.

from what I can tell by looking out my window, either they came for you guys today or you decided you wanted all the furniture outside for a while.
