Desert island albums
Most of you have done this before, I'm sure. If you were to be stranded on a desert island, what five albums would you want to have with you? Double CD/tape/whatever albums count as one album.

Hmm..
Styx - Paradise Theater Def Leppard - Vault:Greatest Hits Van Halen - Greatest Hits Toad the Wet Sprocket - Fear A New Found Glory - A New Found Glory I guess that's my choices today. But I would probably choose something different if I was in a different mood.

Hmmm. I don't know if live albums or compilations should count. And only 5? That's hard, and most desert islands are bigger than that. While we're at it, wouldn't you just bring your digital music player?
Here's my current list: Marillion, Marbles (the 2 disc set of course) Yes, Close To The Edge Peter Gabriel, Up Joe Jackson, Night and Day Traffic, John Barleycorn Must Die

Beatles Sgt. Pepper's Weezer Pinkerton Brian Wilson Smile Modest Mouse The Moon and Antartica Red Hot Chili Peppers By The Way Of course, if you could just bring 5 CDs, you could always compress the songs, but that's another issue.

Hmmmmmm that's a good question.
1. Bob Marley and the Whalers (greatest hits collection) 2. Carlos Santana (greatest hits collection) 3. Beetles -- One album 4. Sublime -- 40oz to freedom 5. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers (greatest hits collection) Since i'm stranded on a desert island, thought I'd start off with some good music while laying by the beach sipping on a few pina colattas. Then some albums when the rum settles in you know what I'm saying  ??

very tough! but i am very bored!
i have been listening to mixes a lot lately, but i will try to reach back into the recesses of my brain and remember actual artists, heh. snow patrol - final straw the story of ourselves - living it this way nellie mckay - get away from me ani difranco - not a pretty girl erin mckeown - grand totally missed some, i am sure.
