Smile Computers

Hey everyone! Does anybody know if we will get our Drew computers at orientation, or if they will be shipped to us over the summer? And which did everyone pick, anyway? I got the upgrade one, but I don't think there's a lot of difference.

You will recieve your computer during Orientation. Usually they are given out on the Saturday of Orientation. It will most likely remain that way, though it is not set in stone yet.

avg has a free antivirus program if you don't have one installed.

If you do, scan with it!

The weight and size is really the only difference. The R52 (the bigger one) also has a FireWire port where the T43 (the smaller one) does not. Otherwise, they're exactly compatible.

It does not, but the fingerprint scanner does not work with the Novell Client login GINA anyway.
