Usually in the evenings after orientation week is over with stuff isn't going on as much I think what would be really cool is Labor day which is that monday. I don't think anything is going on in the way of orientation that day but I can find out.

Without knowing anything about the schedule this year, in past years (one year of going through orientation, and 3 years being on the committee) there werent any 6 hour blocks of free time during Orientation, even on the last day. Again though, I have no idea what they have planned for you this year.

All are welcome to try their hand at the grilling, the most sacred part of the Hamburger Social.

Questions: Is Labor Day considered a part of Orientation? Do Orientation events happen?

Very well. It seems that the first week at Drew is too busy for a Hamburger Social.

So, I have decided that the date for this auspicious event shall be Saturday, September 9th. This is the first weekend after classes begin. It will begin at 1:00pm, and continue indefinitely.

I hope that the setting of an official date will encourage everyone to plan to attend!
