Lights, Camera, SquirrelVision! Discussion / Poll
What is SquirrelVision?
Drew's student-run television station, channel 75! Tell us what you think below and take the poll! If you've got this great idea for a TV show, this is the place to share your ideas and look for actors or writers or whatever you need.
How can I be involved and how much of a time commitment is it?
You can be involved in a number of ways, just by contacting Shawn and offering your creative ideas. We are seeking videographers, writers, actors, and anyone else that has something they want to contribute. Please post here to contribute to our discussion.
What kind of programming are you interested in seeing?
Poll Question and please discuss below:
How much TV do you watch during the day?
Give an hourly range on how much time you'd spend watching channel 75, and in lieu of what other TV shows (other than doing homework). We'd air event commericals and videos at the best time for you without interfering with shows like Jersey Shore, etc.
When is the best time for you to watch TV?
During what time of the day would you be watching channel 75? Give a specific time range; don't just say afternoon or evening.
30 meeting minutes on 9/9/10:
Our first discussion put out some great ideas, and we are looking for students interested in filming, acting, and editing. There was talk about a comedy show, a film contest co-sponsored by Student Activities, and club / event commercials. There is interest in doing some kind of TV series on Drew life, following around a student for a day to learn more about his declared major. The time commitment is whatever you choose to make it, and the greater the number of supporters, the more fluid a process it becomes to put media on air. And most importantly, the greater the awareness of Channel 75, the more viewers we have!
