Default Seeking to borrow military boots

Can anyone lend me military boots for a May 24 Memorial Day tribute at St. James Episcopal Church in Upper Montclair to soldiers from the parish killed during World War I? I can arrange to pick up and return the boots to campus. Contact me at shausman@drew.edu if you can help. I need 7 pairs total.

Default WWI footwear

Just writing to suggest that you do not necessarily want boots for this...proper WWI usage was sort of high top shoes or low boots, but they were worn with spats or puttees so that any stout leather shoe will do the part. The uppers were covered with either special spats (a problem!) OR just wraps of wound on cloth, for which you would only need to find cloth or towels of some approximation of uniform color. Actual boot tops would never have been visible...
There are pictures of both the spats and the simple windings on here:
