Copenhagen Candlelight Vigil
Friday, December 11th

Meet at Seminary Hall Chapel (on the 2nd floor) at 4:30pm

Around the world, people will gather at iconic and strategic locations in their communities and will light candles of hope to stand in solemn solidarity with the citizens of the nations whose very survival is threatened by climate change.

It is the hope of the global citizens that Copenhagen will seriously advance international agreements responding to climate change. Part of this depends on the United States taking global leadership and acting domestically through legislation. The majority of Americans support action to prevent climate change (Pew Center).
