Watch this space - GroupWise migration status on Saturday
As previously announced by Computing and Network Services, we will be moving all of our GroupWise post offices to new hardware this Saturday afternoon. During that time, access to email will be unavailable.
We will be posting live updates to this thread charting the progress of the migration. Check back here throughout Saturday afternoon if you want to know when your post office is going offline and when it will be back.

Plan for tomorrow
We will begin on Saturday with the Employee Post Office at noon. Once the employee PO is moved, we will migrate the student POs concurrently. As Post Offices become unavailable and are put back into service, we will update this space with details. During the dry run test we performed last Saturday, the entire migration was complete before 6:00pm. We don't anticipate the process requiring more time when we do it "for real" tomorrow.

Larsson's arrived, we're going to start the migration now. We'll update as post offices finish their migration and become available again.

The employee post office copied over much more quickly than we anticipated. It seems that having the network to ourselves sped things up considerably, taking less than an hour as opposed to the three hours we were estimating from past tests.
We are in the process of configuring it, and will update once it is available again.

Employee post office is back up and running, and has been tested.
We're taking a short break, then migrating the student post offices.

Student POs moving.
We are now starting with the Student Post Offices.
Both Student POs are going offline simultaneously and will be migrated concurrently.

Both student post offices are back up and running properly in their new homes. Migration complete!
