Default Full of useless information

Me (scrubbing potatoes): We should plant some of these potatoes. That'd be so cool.

Wife: Actually, you're not supposed to plant eating potatoes because they are more likely to have diseases than seed potatoes.

Me: When did you become a cooperative extension?

Default Re: Potatoes

Your wife's comment is interesting, considering when I got home from work yesterday my parents were admiring their crop of potatoes from the garden. I ::think:: they were planted from "eating potatoes" as opposed to "seed potatoes", yet they appear healthy enough, though smaller than the typical potatoes I see at the supermarket. Hopefully they'll taste good.
