Question Upgrading to Mozilla Firefox 3?

Is it ok for staff on campus to upgrade to Mozilla Firefox 3? I know the Ektron system doesn't work with it yet, but I notice that they are not planning any more security updates to Firefox 2.

Yes, there's an object in the new Zen (actually two objects-- Firefox 3 Desktop and Firefox 3 Notebook/Standalone). The former is only for use on faculty/staff desktops that use profiles on F:\Firefox. The latter is for profiles on the C: drive.

I went ahead and updated that object to FF 3.0.5 (just released) just now. Was FF 3.0.4.

Also, we've been using FF3 on the freshman machines.

One possible annoyance--you'll want to update SecureLogin to the latest release to get a version that supports Firefox 3 (again, available only in the new Zen).
