In comparison to the commons? Wow, that's high levels of suckitude.
Meh, I think it's rather cliché to "hate on" the commons, if you will. I mean, yeah, some of their food does suck, but...geez, some people are just crazy about it. Or maybe I'm too much of a contrarian.

Whew, luckily I have a flame shield.
But in actuality, the commons food is a lot better compared to other colleges. Also, with such a variety of foods offered, they might not all be great, but their edible. If anything, you cant blame the commons for the cereal, and if you cant make a meal out of cereal, you slept through your college orientation classes.
