Yeah our valedictorian smokes so much weed it's ridiculous. Ugh!

I wouldn't say I'm dumb but I'm not brilliant. My math is deplorable (case in point: there was a 170 point disparity between my math and verbal scores on the SAT, the math being the lower) and I don't know why they accepted me but they did. They didn't give me a reason like the person who had the service hours, because I don't do community service... I work.

But yes, I have learned nothing in precalculus this year... I blame the fact that 1) my brother and I are in the same class (bizarre, I know; he's a junior too) and 2) I have distracting people at my table and 3) math is evil. I'm afraid of calculus next year. lol.

As for the schools I applied to: Emerson College (that was a really tough decision, between Drew and Emerson, but Drew gave me way more money), Boston University, and American University.

Calculus is the devil. I used to be an A/B math student, so after precal I though, I can do calculus, it's not that much of a big deal.

I was wrong. I failed. Literally failed. First time ever since I started going to school. I worked really hard studying like 6 hours a night for my D first semester. Needless to say, I'm taking stats at Drew. It might have been my teacher though considering we all say that she's the slayer of valedictorians... oh well. just had to put my two cents in about calc.

Do not even get me started on Calculus, I only got a good grade because it is so simple to gets A's in this teacher's class as long as you do your homework, but I took the AP Calculus exam, I wanted to shoot myself, however, it was a million times better than the French AP test, I literally started crying in the middle of it...but I'm done now, and so ready to go to college!!

I found the French exam a peice of cake really, but then again it's like the only thing that I do well. I wanted to cry in the middle of the AP Physics B test. That one was horrible.

Don't even get me started on the AP Art History exam. On one of the essays I was so screwed I just gave up after 15 minutes of bashing my head into the table and doodled for the rest of the half hour. That was bad. There are just way too many names and dates and places and movements and styles to memorize for that thing.

I didn't even bother with the AP calc exam since I did so badly in that class- of course, it was my fault for taking BC calc, but from what I've heard from my friends, it just meant dying first semester instead of second.

And I concur that the AP French was horrible, I thought the worst was putting ten people in a room to do the orals at the same time, talking over each other- that was kind of strange.

This thread is slightly disheartening.

I think a better question is if anyone smart is going to Drew? ((sorry, I only mean it in a joking manner after reading these posts))

CALC AB exam was the easiest I've had this year. The AP Physics was the hardest. I made stuff up by the end of the physics..
