My computer screen brightness is constant. I want my screen to dim when it is not plugged into an outlet.

If you want to adjust the power management settings on your computer, you can open the Lenovo Power Manager application by either right clicking on the big battery in the taskbar and choosing "Launch Power Manager..." or pushing the windows key, typing Power Manager, and hitting the Enter key.

Once power manager opens, if you see just one large slider bar click on the Advanced button in top right of the window. If you are already in the advanced view or clicked on the advanced button, you will see a set of profiles on the left hand side of the window. "Power source optimized" will basically do what you want, but you can also tweak all the individual settings in this window. Once you've made your changes click OK.
